Hitomi is a college student and a tomboy who loves reading, writing, and drawing. She is a big manga and anime fan as well as loving to play video games and doing sword fighting. Of course, she is also a computer addict. She is also Keiyaʼs girlfriend, both are involved in a long term but long distance relationship. Though Filipino, she was born and raised in New York. Though always loving to write a lot, this project is considered to be the most important thing sheʼs ever written. She hopes that people would like this project as much as she and the rest of the staff do.
Born October 2, 1986, Keiya, real name Gerard, is the co-writer for the series as well as Hitomi's boyfriend. Though born in the Philippines, he moved to the US in 2003. He currently resides in Cypress, CA, and is attending undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine. Aside from being an avid fan of anime and manga, Kei is also a huge fan of Japanese games, most notably JRPG series such as Final Fantasy and Genso Suikoden.
The Script Maker/Editor
Aidan, better known as ElectricPanda, joined the team out of general busy-bodiness and is not Filipino. Half-Australian, half-kiwi and 100% snobby Melburnian. He loves art, writing and generally being creative (which is tempered by laziness). He climbed on board as the editor and script-maker of the project.
The Colorist
Sayoko is a high school student who is obsessed with peaches. She is one of Hitomi's close friends and is also Hitomi's best friend's cousin in real life. Living in Florida, she was originally from New York, and Filipino. Also is a big anime and manga fan and loves illustrating in Photoshop. She also has an obsession with Myspace. She loves to listen to J-Pop, K-Pop and Rock as her music. She is a big fan of the manga/anime series, Vampire Knight, and is a Zero fangirl. She loves Stephanie Meyer's books like the Twilight series and The Host.
The Inker/Toner
Bel, AKA votrereine or V, is a qualified artist able to use a range of multimedia. As a lover of all things creative, especially anime and manga, she came to the project wanting to help create something as part of a team. She currently lives in Queensland, Australia. She is a fan of manga and has read more titles than she can count.
The Web Designer
Kasimi, the youngest of the staff, is a family friend of Hitomi’s. Once she heard of the project, Kasimi grabbed at the opportunity to help her friend. With her love of design and obsession with organizing, she offered to build the home of the project, the site and forums. This soon-to-be high school student fancies performing arts; to be specific, dance. She has taken classes such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and lyrical for four years now. Her love for anime/manga was adopted from her older brother. Her sister inspired her to start drawing. Even though she was born and raised in New York, she is always proud to be Filipino.
